Is it a must to have a referee or be employed for the application of the programme? 答：不是必填项，可以不填。 A: No, it can be left blank. 问：请问凡是取得香港理工大学信息管理理学硕士学位证书，就一定能通过教育部留学服务中心的认证吗？认证手续麻烦吗？一般论证的周期有多长？ Q: Am I guaranteed to get the verification from the MoE of China with the Parchment issued by Poly U? Normally how long will the procedure take? 答：是否能取得认证要取决于被认证人提供的个人资料是否真实准确，认证周期一般两个月左右。 A: Yes, as long as true and accurate information is well provided. The procedure will normally take two weeks. 问：请问信息管理硕士专业学费是如何分期缴纳的？ Q: What is the payment mode? 答：每学期开学前缴纳本学期的学费，每学期开多少课程就缴纳相应的学费。 A: Pay by module is the payment mode of the programme. Students are required to settle the total module fee of the semester prior to term start. 问：信息管理专业面试是采用的英语面试还是汉语面试？面试的大致方向是什么？ Q: Will the interview be conducted in English or Chinese? What is it mainly about? 答：面试主要内容为英语，面试内容侧重于个人的专业基础以及综合素质。 A: It will be an English-based interview which mainly focuses on one’s academic achievements and overall qualities. 问：请问如果被录取的话，可否申请港澳通行证的留学签证？ Q: Can I apply for the student visa if admitted? 答：我们的项目是中外合作项目而不是留学项目，不可以申请留学签证。 A: No, students are not going to study abroad since this is a collaboration programme that offers courses in mainland China. 问：赴港毕业典礼是否是学业构成的一部分，是否必须参加？如果因为客观原因不能参加，有什么影响吗？ Q: Do I have to go to Hong Kong for participation in the Congregation? What if I cannot join the ceremony? 答：如因客观原因不能参加,不影响拿毕业证。 A: It is not compulsory to attend the graduation ceremony. One can still be awarded with the parchment as long as he/she fulfills the graduation requirements. Q: Can I further my study with the Master Degree obtained? 答：可以继续报读博士，本课程已经有多位校友博士在读或毕业。 A: Yes, one can apply for doctoral programmes with the MScIS degree. Many graduates have chosen to pursue their doctor degree; some of them have already obtained a doctor degree. |
